DSA CUSTOM RATED UNITS

DSA offers coastal rated units in custom designs, sizes, wood species, and a variety of custom glass options to help make your dream entryway a reality. Select the desired rating needed to review DSA’s capabilities for your custom door:

CUSTOM DP-50 RATED UNITS

  • Available for Mahogany, Knotty Alder, Walnut, White Oak or Accoya® custom units.
  • Units must be pre-hung in a frame to be DP certified.
  • Ashland® Multipoint lock or standard bore prep required
  • Units with operable panels or windows (Breezeport, Dutch) or narrow stile & rails (Slimline) can not be made custom DP rated.
  • Elliptical units can not be rated.
  • Direct Set side lite and transoms are not available rated.
  • Custom Glass Options available for DP50 doors.
  • Florida DP-50 Configuration & Size Limitations
  • Non-Florida DP-50 Configuration & Size Limitations

CUSTOM WBD IMPACT UNITS

  • Available for Mahogany, Knotty Alder, Walnut, White Oak or Accoya® custom units (2 1/4″ door thickness)
  • Units must be pre-hung in a frame to be certified.
  • Ashland® Multipoint lock required for each door panel
  • Units with operable panels or windows (Breezeport, Dutch) or narrow stile & rails (Slimline) can not be made Impact rated.
  • Elliptial units can not be rated.
  • Direct Set side lite and transoms not available rated.
  • Circular / oval glass shapes, speakeasy windows, small individual panes of glass, or complex glass shapes (Hampshire) can not be Impact Rated.
  • Custom Impact Glass Options available (Flemish, White Laminated, and Turtle Tint)
  • WBD Impact Configuration & Size Limitations

CUSTOM HVHZ IMPACT UNITS

  • Available for Mahogany, Knotty Alder, Walnut, White Oak or Accoya® custom units (2 1/4″ door thickness)
  • Pre-Hung Single or Double Door units
  • Single Doors: GU® Secury™ or Ashland® Multipoint
  • Double Doors: Ashland® Multipoint (Active & Passive)
  • Doors with full-view arched glass (Clearwater) can not be HVHZ Impact Rated
  • Circular / oval glass shapes, speakeasy windows, small individual panes of glass, or complex glass shapes (Hampshire), operable panels / windows (Breezeport, Dutch), narrow stile & rails (Slimline), or elliptical arch units can not be Impact Rated.
  • Custom Impact Glass Options available (Flemish, White Laminated, and Turtle Tint).
  • HVHZ Impact Configuration & Size Limitations
